General Information
Luggage: We arrange the movement of your luggage between hotels. All you need do is leave it at reception in the morning before setting off on your walk.
Fitness Level: Our holiday is not long distance walking! The idea is to stretch the legs for a few hours a day – and to have plenty of time to relax and see the area. The average walking time is under four hours, but normally more than three hours. Distances vary from 7kms to 13kms and individuals who are used to walking these relatively short distances should experience no problems whatsoever. The terrain can at times be a bit rocky, but all routes follow established paths.
Travel Information
There are many operators offering very competitive flights to Cyprus. (Easyjet, Tompson etc) The most convenient airport is Paphos - which has recently invested in new, super facilities. Flights from Manchester, East Midlands, Luton and Gatwick are all on a daily basis.
The flights usually arrive in the late afternoon and your first hotel is about a fifty minute taxi transfer away. Local taxi fares from Paphos airport to the hotel are approx €55-65.
The end of your holiday transfer is from St George’s – about 10kms from Paphos, and only half an hour to the airport. Local taxi cost €45.
